Watching A tanu because Mamuzzy, a user I follow made a post about it and it's reminding me how much I love Hungarian media so I wanted to share one of my favorites that's next to impossible to search sometimes
Finding information about this song in particular keeps getting mixed with "Gloomy Sunday" largely due to how americans only know Reszo Seress for that one song (and the false hysteria around it) so I don't know the historical context behind the phrase in the title of this one but the song itself is incredibly melancholy and breathtaking. If shipping wasn't 30 dollars for the one copy I found of this album I'd own it myself and put it on repeat
